Ah . . June, the month of weddings, graduations and CAMPING! And who doesn’t like camping? Region one has already been quite active with almost a rally every weekend since April and that is what our club is all about. Nothing is better than spending a weekend with fellow Airstream owners enjoying all that our region has to offer. With our International Rally just around the corner lets all remember the who our great club started; friendship and Airstreams.

From the upper reaches of Canada down to Connecticut, hundreds of Airstreamers gather together to share all that Region One has to offer. From PEI mussels down to Connecticut grown apples there is an abundance of great reasons to go exploring. Living museums such as Plymouth Plantation and Sturbridge Village over to Mystic Seaport all with camping nearby. Haven’t hosted a rally yet with your unit? With so much to offer, our area is easy to come up with a theme, a campground and fellow WBCCI members to help. The satisfaction you get from hosting is unforgettable.

Speaking of rallies, there is still time to join in for the Region One Rally and if you are like me, waiting till the last possible minute I assure you International will find room for you. Either of these two long standing great events has something to offer everyone. From entertainment, good food, seminars and most important of all, friendship. As I am sitting at my desk, there is a book listing hundreds of potential friends, our 2013 Membership edition of the Blue Beret. Every single person listed in that directory has something in common with myself; they own an Airstream. Many of those folks have a welcome mat just outside their door inviting us in, courtesy parking. Imagine that? An open invitation to making a new friend. No other club of fraternity organization has this incredible feature. Colorado alone has fifteen possible campsites just waiting for me with a very reasonable per night fee, friendship. And not just Colorado, all over the northern cotenant folks like myself opening up their homes to fellow Airstream owners.

Another month has come and gone, we have already put many rallies under our belt and still have months to go. So I don’t know what you are waiting for but your fellow Airstream owners are waiting for you out there so let’s get going.
