Gather up your Airstreams and pull up a bale of hay . . . . . The Region One “Airstream Country Jamboree” is shaping up to be one of those events you don’t want to miss. You can’t do much better than spending four days in the hills of New Hampshire in the early summer. That’s right, polish up your spurs, pull out you best western shirts and join your fellow Airstream Club members celebrating one of the finer things in life; cowboy boots and Airstreams.
Four days of scheduled events and have fun on your own with five planned meals, Square Dance with live music and all that North Haverhill, NH has to offer. Hiking trails, bike trails, kayaking, local farms, covered bridges and plenty of New England shopping and sight seeing to go around. Meet up with old friends and make a few new ones. For more information visit the Region One website or send your questions and comments to: airstreamjamboree@gmail.com.
This is the time of year when Sandi and I pull out the calendar and start blocking out days for rallies and trips. No matter how hard we try there just aren’t enough vacation days to do everything we want. Perhaps some day that will change but for now we, like a lot of others do the best we can. Funny thing is, I don’t remember having this problem before we purchased our first Airstream. Funny how things change. Of course the second week of August this year is all booked as are several other Rally Weekends. Of course we still enjoy going out on our own and visiting new places and making new discoveries. And as we all know, that’s the Airstream way. So start blocking out the rally dates and get ready for another great season in Region one and yes, please keep the shinny side up.
