Brother Marie-Victorin Kirouac, brother of the Christian Schools was a botanist and known as the father of the Botanical Garden of Montréal. Born in Kingsey Falls (city of Camping location) he was a leading in the province of Québec for horticultural development. The “Flore Laurentienne” botanical record of all species indigenous was a major accomplishment of his career. In 1985 centennial anniversary of his birth a park was establish in his home town Kingsey Falls. The visit of this park is planned as probably  Papier Cascades, both close to the camping site.
