Caravanners Gather at Region 1 Florida East Coast Luncheon
Published: January 11, 2007
The Florida East Coast Luncheon was, by the available good food and good company, a successful, fun event. Some 32 current, former and prospective caravanners gathered at Golden Corral in Palm Bay to exchange some old and new stories and renew some old and new acquaintances.
In the “Laughs” department, John Fuller scored high marks with his “Adjustable Worldwide” Airstream cap. John is proud of his topper and we hear, considering a cruise to Antarctica to test its true adjustability. The “Gaffs” trophy goes to Russ Melocik for noticing the absence of Audrey Peters who was quietly seated some 3-feet away. Maurice Moreau related his health crisis at the Easter Rally a few years back and Ernie Wood tooted the homeland horn of Prince Edward Island and the wonderful spot chosen to host this year’s Region Rally.
It would be safe to say that we all enjoyed each others’ company.
